Our client is a venture-backed startup that has built a Web portal for scheduling appointments with doctors. Founded in 2005, the company deployed a Montreal-wide pilot in 2007 and is currently expanding. They are looking for a Senior Web Programmer with experienced in C# and .NET to evolve the platform and add new features.
Summary of Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the technical director, the ideal candidate will participate in analysis, development, maintenance and deployment of web applications. S/he will actively contribute in the process of improving the products, suggesting new features and upgrades. The candidate will also directly supervise the programming team.
Tasks
- Participate in analysis of today’s and future needs
- Understand the current code and architecture
- Develop the platform according to current programming standards
- Be in charge of quality assurance
- Participate in the writing of documentation
- Develop and maintain the source code repository
Necessary Requirements
- B.Sc. or B.Eng.
- 4-6 years of experience in web application development on ASP, .NET and C#
- Excellent understanding of Visual Studio and SQL
- Experience managing a team
- The ability to work under tight deadlines and under pressure
- Ability to work independently
Start Date: Immediate
